The Lao Table is hosting Sips, Stories & Khao Poon on Sunday, November 9 at Nibble Kitchen in Bow Market, Somerville. Guests include: Chef Veo Robert, whose dishes tell stories of Lao American roots and resilience, and Tina Meetran, visual artist and author of Little Nana Cooks, who will share reflections on food, memory, and the beauty of cultural storytelling.
This is more than a dinner. It is a conversation woven with stories, laughter, and love. If you are in the Boston area, come join us. Come as you are, bring your curiosity, and leave nourished in spirit, in memory, and perhaps with a deeper sense of your own story.was born from that knowing. From the truth that our culture, our food, and our stories carry everything we need to feel whole. Each dinner is a practice in authenticity. A way to slow down, gather, and honor the depth of Lao identity through taste, memory, and conversation. It is about inviting others to experience the richness of Lao life while also creating space for our own community to celebrate ourselves fully.
